Therefore, we decided to take the situation into our own hands - to create the film that millions of fans around the world have been waiting for all these years.

Project Ixtlan is the result of the mutual inspiration and efforts of many participants. Each of us. Only thanks to this combined strength, were we able to overcome numerous obstacles on the way to our goal. Intent opened the doors for us, allowing us to cross the threshold and take the first step. Without it, this film would have remained a pipe dream.

Project Ixtlan is the idea of fans of the books of Carlos Castaneda. We are not connected with the world of big cinema, nor with its advantages and disadvantages. We created this project not for the sake of making money, but for the sake of making a dream come true - to see Castaneda's journey into the wonderful world of don Juan portrayed on the big screen.

The music conveys the incredible atmosphere of the events that forever changed the life of Carlos Castaneda, and will do the same for those who dare to go on this spiritual journey through the mediums of music and film.
To convey its beauty, we contracted a symphonic quartet, recording the music live.

Starting as a self-taught musician Terry Oldfield has become a world renowned musician best known for his unique style of flute playing.
He has composed music for over 80 film and TV productions, nominated for two EMMY awards for Land of the Tiger and Twilight of the Dreamtime and a BAFTA nomination for the BBC series Kingdom of the Ice Bear. Terry has released more than 60 albums to date and with over 2 million record sales.
